Contact Promotion Programmes (CPPs), 20th-24th August 2018, Madagascar

In line with the Government’s strategy of market diversification and regional integration, the Economic Development Board (EDB) is organising Contact Promotion Programmes (CPPs) in Antananarivo and Tamatave, Madagascar from 27th to 31st August 2018.

Madagascar is a major importer of Mauritian goods. The combination of geographical proximity coupled with the common membership and preferential market access to SADC, COMESA and IOC as well as the the competitive pricing of “Made in Mauritius” products have significantly contributed to enhance trade between Mauritius and Madagascar.

This promotional exercise is tailored to boost the visibility and position of Mauritius as the preferred sourcing destination for Madagascar and to further increase our exports. The aim of the CPPs is to tap into trade opportunities in both Antananarivo and Tamatave, two potential cities where there is eminent trade.

The CPPs will be scheduled as follows:

  • 27th and 28th August 2018: B2B meetings in Antananarivo
  • 29th August 2018: The Mauritian delegation will travel to Tamatave
  • 30th and 31st August 2018: B2B meetings in Tamatave

To register interest for participating in this event, companies are requested to fill in the attached Registration Form & Selection Questionnaire and submit to the EDB on pritilukshmi.ramdawa@edbmauritius.org at latest by Friday 01st June 2018.
