Investment Promotion Mission on the high value-added Manufacturing Sector, 27 March -3 April 2019, South Africa
The Economic Development Board will conduct a series of targeted business forums dedicated to high value-added manufacturing industry from 27th March to 3rd April 2019. The business forums, which will take place in 3 major South African cities, will be organized in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Bay Chamber of Commerce in Port Elizabeth, the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry respectively.
Being the most industrialized country of the African continent, South Africa remains a key regional trade and investment partner to Mauritius. The proximity of Mauritius to South Africa also makes our country an attractive value-addition platform which could enable South African promoters to substantially grow their businesses in the region. Accordingly, the investment promotion mission will serve as an excellent platform to further raise awareness of potential investors and the South African business community on the plethora of investment opportunities in the Manufacturing Sector in Mauritius.
Moreover, the Economic Development Board will engage individually with South African manufacturing companies having expansion strategies through a series of one-to-one meetings which will take place in the 3 cities.
