International Resources and Mining Conference (IMARC), 29 - 31 October 2019, Melbourne, Australia
In a bid to enhance the visibility of Mauritius as an International Financial Centre of choice and substance, the Economic Development Board is organizing an investment promotion mission from 28th October to 1st November 2019 in Melbourne.
The EDB will also sponsor and participate in the International Mining and Resources Conference 2019 (IMARC) in Melbourne with a view to promote Mauritius as ideal platform for investing in Africa.
IMARC is Australia’s largest mining event, bringing together over 7,000 decision makers, mining leaders, policy makers, investors, commodity buyers, technical experts, innovators and educators from over 100 countries for three days of learning, deal-making and unparalleled networking.
Australia is one of the top investors in mineral exploration and development in Africa, with approximately one in twenty companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) maintaining investment in Africa. With more than 200 ASX-listed companies active on over 1,000 projects in 38 countries across the continent, Mauritius is ideally positioned to tap into the massive flows of investments from Australia into Africa.
In order to capture the complexities of African mining issues, the IMARC programme will feature in-depth discussions involving experts in the fields of security on the continent, infrastructure and project financing and provide a vibrant, inclusive forum for discussion, networking and doing deals, while raising awareness of the resources opportunities on offer throughout Africa.
EDB is hereby inviting expression of interests for participation from the private sector operators who will benefit from a preferential rate on 3-day delegate passes.
Interested parties are requested to contact Mrs. Wendy Sharon Sathan on 203 3341 or through email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
