Lean Manufacturing Capacity Building Programme
The Economic Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) and the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC), is launching a Capacity Building Programme on Lean Manufacturing targeting SMEs and Mid-Market manufacturing enterprises.
This initiative is designed to support companies in addressing key challenges such as rising production costs, inefficiencies in production processes, and limited adoption of industrial engineering tools to improve competitiveness.
The programme aims to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and export competitiveness through structured training and in-factory implementation support. Both the two-day training (11 and 12 May 2026) and the six-month Lean Manufacturing implementation programme (including in-factory interventions) will be offered free of charge to participating companies.
