Call for Entry – EDB Art Gallery
The Economic Development Board (EDB) is organising its 6th Art Exhibition at the EDB Art Gallery with the aim of promoting and showcasing the work of local artists. In this context, the EDB invites artists residing in the Republic of Mauritius and Rodrigues to submit proposals for paintings and/or photographic works to be considered for exhibition.
The art exhibition is also being organized with a view to help artists establish meaningful networks with potential foreign investors, business professionals and other stakeholders visiting the EDB offices on a daily basis.
Exhibition Details:
- Number of Artworks: 12 – 15 pieces to be exhibited per batch
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Location: Ground Floor, 7 Exchange Square, Wall Street, Ebene
Conditions for Participation:
- Open to artists who are residents of the Republic of Mauritius and Rodrigues.
- All paintings and photographs must be original and must never have been exhibited at EDB Art Gallery previously.
- Each artist may submit up to two artworks.
- Maximum display space per artwork: 70 cm x 70 cm. A panel will review submissions.
- EDB reserves the right to decline any work deemed inappropriate or to cancel the exhibition.
- Participating artists are strongly advised to subscribe to an insurance policy to cover any risks.
- EDB will allocate the exhibition space for each selected artwork.
- The Artwork is not under Insurance Cover.
How to Apply:
- Submit the following by 6th November 2026 at 15:00 hrs.

- High-quality photographs of each artwork
- Artist’s CV

Delivery of Selected Artworks
Selected artists shall be notified and will be required to submit their artworks one week before the exhibition date to the following address:
Ground Floor, 7 Exchange Square, Wall Street, Ebene.
N.B: Late applications/submissions will not be accepted.
