Mauritius Showcases Investment Advantages at SuperReturn Africa
The Economic Development Board (EDB) cosponsored and participated in the SuperReturn Africa conference, from 4-6 December 2023 at the Westin Cape Town, alongside with over 15 operators from Mauritius.
The conference offered a prime opportunity to engage with over 300 prominent figures in the African private capital sector, as well as senior decision-makers, comprising more than 100 senior Limited Partners (LPs) and over 200 General Partners (GPs).
Mauritius’s participation served as a comprehensive exploration of Africa’s capital market and enabled the EDB to showcase Mauritius as the preferred jurisdiction for funds. In a keynote presentation on day 1 of the conference; the EDB team deep dived into risk mitigation, structuring, administration of funds and the newly introduced Variable Capital Companies.
The EDB also held an information session on “Retiring in Mauritius” on the 8th of December 2023 at the Protea Hotel where prospective retirees from the city of Cape Town had the opportunity to engage with our experts and finalise the modalities of their relocation or long-term stays in Mauritius.
