Vacancy – Management Trainees
The Economic Development Board (EDB) is the Government of Mauritius’ apex institution
responsible for:
- Investment promotion, export promotion, and business facilitation;
- Positioning Mauritius as an international financial centre and business hub;
- Supporting structural reforms that improve the business environment.
Position Overview
The Management Trainee will participate in a structured one-year programme and will be posted in one of the EDB economic clusters.
Qualifications & Experience
- A recognised bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields of study: economics,
finance, business administration, management, international business, law, engineering, information technology, urban planning, architecture, data science, environmental studies or other relevant discipline; - At least two years of relevant professional experience;
- Strong academic and professional achievements;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and French; and
- Sound knowledge of digital tools.
- A postgraduate qualification or specialised certification would be an advantage.
