Building a Better World for Women By Trading Across Borders

In this auspicious day of International Women’s Day, Pamela Coke Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (ITC), reflects in her message to the Mauritian women and women of the world, on why she chose Mauritius to launch a hub and aid local women entrepreneurs to “go global”. “Women are the engine of trade in Africa, yet small businesses in Africa face unique challenges. Let’s work together to create the right capacities and conditions for women to participate in and benefit equally from trade”, reminds the Executive Director of the ITC.
