The Economic Development Board of Mauritius (EDB) will host a multi-sectoral investment and trade promotion mission across four Indian cities namely, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Chennai from 23 February to 3 March 2026.

    • India Economy

      India’s economy continues to gain momentum, with the IMF projecting 6.6% GDP growth in 2025. Inflation has eased sharply to 0.71% in November 2025, creating a stable environment for supportive monetary policy. The job market has also improved, with unemployment falling to 4.7%.

      Exports remain strong: India recorded US$562.13 billion in merchandise and services exports from April–November 2025, up 5.43% from the previous year. Key drivers include engineering goods, electronics, gems and jewellery, pharmaceuticals, and petroleum products.

      India’s GDP has now surpassed US$4.18 trillion, making it the world’s fourth largest economy.
