The Mauritius Investment Promotion & Residency Week made its way to South Africa, with the third leg taking place in Port Elizabeth on April 26, 2024. The event, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Gqeberha, attracted more than 125 stakeholders, including investors, entrepreneurs, and consultants from the manufacturing city. A high-level roundtable session was also conducted by the Economic Development Board (EDB) on April 25, with high-net-worth individuals in Port Elizabeth.
Following the successful event in Port Elizabeth, the Mauritius Delegation headed to Durban for the final leg of the Roadshow. The business forum, which took place at the Radisson Blu Umhlanga on April 29, saw the participation of over 150 attendees, including entrepreneurs and members of the investor community in Durban. In addition to presentations by the EDB and Mauritius Commercial Bank, testimonials were also provided by ABSA and real estate developer 2Futures.
