Vacancy – Post of Director Financial Services
The Economic Development Board (EDB) is the Government of Mauritius’ apex institution
responsible for:
- Investment promotion, export promotion, and business facilitation;
- Positioning Mauritius as an international financial centre and business hub;
- Supporting structural reforms that improve the business environment.
Position Overview
The Director – Financial Services is responsible for leading and developing Mauritius’ financial services investment ecosystem, with a strong focus on attracting, facilitating, and retaining investment in the sector. The role supports EDB’s mandate to position Mauritius as a competitive international financial centre.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in related field & at least 12 years’ experience including 8 years at management level.
- Experience and senior-level exposure in financial services sector, investment promotion, regulatory bodies, or international business will be an advantage.
