The Economic Development Board leads an Export of Services Mission to Madagascar in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector
In line with its export promotional strategy and with a view to enhance visibility on the healthcare and life sciences sector in Mauritius, the Economic Development Board (EDB) conducted an export of services mission in Madagascar from 31st May to 2nd June 2023.
The Mauritian delegation comprised Aegle Onco Care Centre Ltd, C-Care (Mauritius) Ltd, Cap Research Ltd, Ducray-Lenoir Ltd, Proximed Ltd and Royal Green Hospital.
The Business Forum held on 1st June 2023 provided the ideal platform to the Mauritian delegation to showcase the range of services offered. Targeted B2B meetings were also held with the representatives of the healthcare industry.
The event saw the participation of 150 healthcare professionals and related stakeholders. A strong interest was noted amongst the attendees regarding healthcare treatment and services offered by the Mauritian delegation. The emphasis was laid upon the sourcing of healthcare professionals, collaboration with industry associations for treatments, conduct of clinical trials and provision of latest high tech medical equipment amongst others.
