EDB will participate in Africa Down Under 2026, taking place from 2 to 4 September 2026 in Perth, Australia. The event provides a strategic platform to position Mauritius as a trusted international financial centre and a gateway for investment into Africa. EDB will showcase the strengths of Mauritius’ financial services sector, its robust regulatory framework, and investor-friendly business environment. The mission aims to attract quality investment and promote Mauritius as a preferred base for accessing African markets. EDB will also engage with Australian financial institutions to build strategic partnerships and foster business collaboration. Opportunities for cooperation in education, innovation, and the ocean economy will be explored. Participation at the event will contribute to strengthening Mauritius–Australia bilateral economic relations. It will also enhance Mauritius’ visibility among Australian investors and businesses. Through this engagement, Mauritius seeks to reinforce its role as a leading platform for investment, trade, and sustainable growth in Africa.
