Iranian Business Delegation Visits Mauritius for Cultural Week and Investment Opportunities
A business delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by His Excellency Dr. Hassan Ali Bakhshi, Ambassador of Iran to Mauritius met with representatives of the Economic Development Board today.
The delegation, consisting of 22 delegates, is visiting the island to participate in the Iranian Cultural Week scheduled from 9th to 16th March 2024. The Iranian Cultural Week will feature various activities including cultural showcases, business discussions, Iranian cuisine, music performances, and product displays from Iran. During their meeting with EDB officials, the Iranian delegates expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Mauritius, particularly in the manufacturing sectors such as leather goods, textiles, and chemicals.
