SheTrades Mauritius hub leads a delegation of women led businesses to Seychelles
With a view to encourage the internationalization of women-led businesses, the Economic Development Board (EDB), as the host institution for the SheTrades initiative, led a delegation of women entrepreneurs to Seychelles from 15th to 17th May 2024. The delegation comprised women entrepreneurs operating in the fields of ICT, education, food processing, and healthcare.
The companies participating in the delegation are: Camex DPO Consulting Ltd, Casting World, Deco Design, Pure Health Women and Family Wellness, Research Confidential, Safe Sha Training Centre Ltd, Vega Information Technology & Management Institute and Walali Company Ltd.
A Business Forum was held on 16th May 2024 which provided an ideal platform for women entrepreneurs from Mauritius and Rodrigues to showcase their business activities. The forum saw the participation of various women entrepreneurs from Seychelles, enabling an exchange of knowledge and skills.
During the B2B meetings, emphasis was laid on exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, expanding networks, and creating contacts between buyers and suppliers.
