Strengthening Economic Ties with Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand
A business delegation consisting of 18 entrepreneurs and investors from Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand visited Mauritius from July 23 to July 29, 2024, to explore potential investment and business opportunities across sectors such as manufacturing, horticulture, and information and communication technology (ICT), among others.

This important delegation was led by H.E. Jagdishwar Goburdhun, G.O.S.K, High Commissioner of Mauritius to Malaysia and Dato Pardip Kumar Kukreja, Executive Chairman of the Paradise Group of Companies (Malaysia).
The Economic Development Board facilitated the delegations’ visits and meetings with local institutions and members of the private sectors such as the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chinese Business Chamber, Mauritius Freeport Development and Landscope Mauritius. They also paid courtesy visits to high dignitaries, namely His Excellency Prithvirajsing Roopun, G.C.S.K, President of the Republic of Mauritius and the Honorable Dorine Chukowry, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection.
